Fifty One Shades of Grey (Originally Published 10/12/2022)

For some odd reason, I happened to notice that there were an inordinate amount of gray, recently built cars on the road. From big expensive cars to small economy cars, dull gray everywhere.
I noticed this a few months after I redid the furniture of our living room from a vibrant eggplant and tan to gray, gray and gray. Color is a powerful energetic language that has more power over the human psyche than most people care to admit. For me, the recognition of a gray world emerging tells me the world is in a huge holding pattern.
Having just submitted the final printing of my latest book, Color Speak, the Language of Color, the plethora of gray cars, the popularity of gray in decorating, cars and clothes has confirmed for me that Earth’s inhabitants are in the midst of creating a new “canvas” for their spirits to begin anew. Permit me to explain.
The color gray is the result of mixing two complementary colors of the color wheel together. For example, mixing red with green or yellow with purple or orange with blue (each of these complementary colors) will all result in the color gray.
Right now, it seems people cannot take the energetic force of color. Weary from the trickle-down effects of Covid (massive in both the personal and political arenas), high gas and food prices, invasion of terrorists both abroad and local, China, a Ukraine war that is draining our coffers, Fentanyl overdoses too close to home, can’t find help, the mid-term elections…yada, yada. Gray everywhere indicates that humans are lacking the capacity to process the awakening of Life Force that red offers, the possibility of the expansion of orange, the sense of well-being yellow portends, the abundance or serenity green offers, the healing light blue brings or the access to strength and healing that purple proffers. Right now, gray is everywhere and indicates that the human psyche needs respite from all that’s been seen and what may be yet to come.
The color gray carries vibral energy that helps the spirit being having a human experience step onto the path to one’s inner consciousness; time to think about your own future! There are six areas of life one faces, consciously and unconsciously, like it or not.
• Familial/Home • Mental/Educational
• Physical/Health • Financial/Career
• Social/Civic • Spiritual
Take some time to seek Soul guidance, direction and inner meanings in the areas of your life that defines your human condition in these six areas of life.
Help is on the way! Accessorize, accessorize, accessorize. A gray world can be individually accessorized so that one may begin to enliven their world (and their electro-magnetic field) by adding a red (life force) pillow to a gray couch or a purple shirt (strength) to one’s wardrobe. Looking to improve your physical health? Purchase a blue workout outfit. Bring a green (healing) lush plant into your home to help heal both the body and those broken relationships.
Color can stimulate, improve and activate energy. The choice is always yours.
I think I’ll go shopping today!
