I had a mentor who taught me about tolerance.  Or should I say intolerance.  Karen read me the riot act one day (probably the only real way to get my attention) by responding with disgust to a statement about a friend I made.  I said, “I tolerate her bad behavior because I love her.”  Sheesh!  What a can of worms that statement opened me up to.
