Unconscious Conflicts

The other day, out of nowhere, my husband and I had a very heated conflict that resulted in us taking a two-day "strife break" from each other. Let's examine what really took place here. But first, some back story.  The mental and emotional mind-bodies, those internal storage drives store unconscious conflicts that lurk awaiting resolution usually because one is either not yet mature and/or prepared enough to resolve them OR the event that will trigger the issue resolution is not yet available. The trigger? Another person who is at the opposing end of the learning spectrum from you and who will also be able to benefit from being in that exact conflict resolution mode as well.

To be clear, most human conflicts are about growing and learning about self. Anything short of a transforming outcome for all those in a conflict is the waste of human conflict. Most often, conflicts arise because one is projecting their inner issues/conflicts onto someone else. In a big picture example, Russia wants more land and is in conflict with Ukraine to get it. However, human internal conflict is usually a result of an individual's needs that haven't been met and  gets projected onto those closest to us, whether friend or foe.

During the brawl with my husband, his deep-set "need" for a better family picture caused him to project onto me all his past failures in being a father and husband. Of course, my half of the argument also revealed my past dysfunctional familial issues. The perfect dance to bring to the surface lurking shadow energy, otherwise known as unconscious conflicts.

No one is immune to unconscious conflicts. They are part of the human birthright and are mystically designed for human growth and maturity. Likewise, everyone is also imbued with Soul guidance and the tools to rise up out of the ashes over inner, unconscious conflict with just a little effort.  Recognition of your role in the conflict is the first step in conflict resolution.  Effort is needed to achieve any greatness, and effort in conflict resolution requires a balanced, conflict-free psyche to achieve results. 

What is the truth of your conflict? I'm not sure why Russia needs more land or why China wants to control the world, but I know for a fact that my inner conflicts are merely arrows pointing toward what I need to heal to experience more joy, peace and true internal balance between my spirit self and my material world environment and endeavors.

There are as many inner conflict scenarios as there are people, so there is no one solution that "fits all" advice here. However, the next conflict that arises for you, after the dust has settled, in a moment of peace, sit down, palms up and ask, "What am I to resolve and mature in my mind, Lord?" Listen and heed. Like the grass in your yard or the newborn infant – you are still growing, growing, growing. Don't pass up any growth opportunity. Life is so much better when conflict is resolved, and more light is let in.
