Today I Give Thanks

Gratitude is a very important aspect of true prosperity. For the next seven days before the country collectively celebrates thanks, mentally forge one gratitude thought each day for seven things you probably take for granted.
Here are my seven daily gratitude’s, which first sparked this blog idea in September. I focused on a different thing every day. The following are examples for you only. Dig into your own personal prosperity for your gratitude items.
1. Just for today, I give thanks for two healthy arms. My husband's recent trial and tribulation with frozen shoulder is a good reminder that we were created with two healthy arms. I'm rejoicing with gratitude.
2. Just for today, I give thanks for the contents that reside in my closet. I remember the days of putting a dress in layaway and waiting for four paychecks before I could wear it. I rejoice and give thanks that my perfect abundance exists in my closet.
3. Just for today, I give thanks for Oxy Clean spot remover. I'm a spot-on-clothing poster child. In fact, an entire glass of red wine was spilled on a pair of white jeans years ago. Oxy Clean did the job. How many articles of clothing would be ruined by me leaving a giant hole in my closet? I rejoice for the inventors of Oxy Clean.
4. Just for today, I give thanks for ink pens and whiteout. I write everything I do by hand, believing that the Holy Spirit writes through my brain down to my fingertips. I sit at a computer to write and get nothing. Thankfully, there is whiteout when my will overcomes the Will of God when writing.
5. Just for today, I give thanks for my artistic eye. Through this eye, I see God's beauty and am reminded that I too am a vessel of God's beauty in all that I think, do and say. It is because of beauty that I understand the glorious light and power of Creator Source.
6. Just for today, I give thanks for the resource books that I can learn from. As a writer/teacher archetype, my mind is always on a quest to more finely hone my purpose and deliver only truth in my writings. Authors who have gone before me continue to help build my retinue of spirit works.
7. Just for today, I give thanks for my cell phone, which connects me to ideas, places, friends, data, tools and so much more that I can use to connect with both friends and foes that enable me to be a part of the world's Discernment Force. Earth is a planet of good and evil and the internet is its modern tool. My mind has been and continues to be stretched by phone access to the world, the big picture.
Go ahead! Consciously give gratitude for those little things for seven days and watch the Turkey Day calories become useless units of importance as well as other miracles that have been waiting for your gratitude quotient to increase. It really is that simple. Promise!
Affirmation: I recognize my many blessings now and give thanks.

It's always hard to give thanks when put on the spot at Thanksgiving because there are so many thing to be thankful for. Love this suggestion.
