What if I were to tell you that grief, sparked by any type of loss, is actually a portal to joy, peace and prosperity? What, you say? Sadness is a doorway to its opposite…joy? Absolutely. However, the move from sadness to joy is a choice. In other words, the portal exists; however, one must choose to step into the passageway of Joy and be willing to do the work necessary.

     What work, you ask? Why an emotional reset, of course. Emotional reset?! Is that even possible? Absolutely. One’s emotions were engraved through a series of early life conditioning from parents, teachers, friends and preachers. Sadness and joy are both go-to responses that one was taught.

     In this moment, what are you feeling? I’m feeling grateful for the opportunity to get up at 4:00 a.m. and write messages of help for others. Don’t like the feeling sitting on your heart at the moment? Change it!
