The Pendulum is Swinging (Originally Published 7/23/2021)


Earth is a planet of good & evil. Period. Everything humans experience is a cycle – an experience that has a start and finish. Examples: nine months of pregnancy to produce another human being; the one hundred year flood; the lunar cycle of 28 days and so on. Likewise, the pendulum also swings between good and evil, rich and poor, smart or stupid, etcetera.

 

Currently the pendulum is swinging towards changes on Earth in a variety of different directions:

·         Religion

·         Medicine

·         Education

·         Capitalism

·         Socialism

·         Policing

·         Culture

·         Journalism

 

Science tells us it is the “tension” of the string on a pendulum (along with the weight of the item at the end of the pendulum) that causes the pendulum to achieve radial acceleration. I would suggest that global tension in all of the above areas is actually ushering in changes necessary to mature the human species, at accelerated speed – like it or not.

 

I recently met up with a good acquaintance of 40 years ago. After exchanging stories about our families and work life her final question to me was “what do you make of what’s going on out there?”  I knew exactly what she was talking about. I replied, “Our world is going through a huge shift in consciousness on many levels.” Change is never really pleasant. We have to trust that there is a power greater than ourselves in whose great wisdom is promoting the tension that is not only being felt globally but is repeating itself throughout the world -- in all cultures and in all countries -- to bring about change. The key to surviving the tension is to pray and find out what role each and every one of us is playing.

 

There are no good guys or bad guys. There are only “cast members” whose job it is to further the cause (change). We must pray to keep our intentions pure as we go though the pendulum swing to be sure that we are insulated and protected from the fallout that ALWAYS takes place when change strikes.”

 

Teachers, doctors, politicians, journalists, doctors, business owners, police, ministers – you are all in the pendulum swing. Stand in truth, with a feminine heart and the eyes of an Eagle. The battle is bloody but, in the end, the next step to a higher-minded civilization will be the new and – like it or not! – You!
