The Big Relationship Picture

Romance novels and fairy tales all paint the boy meets girl, falls in love and lives happily ever after story. That may happen on some other planet, but as Adam and Eve's message teaches, the world is full of challenges and sadness that humans deal with on a daily basis. Eve had Adam, and Adam had Eve, and we are led to believe that they eventually worked it out, and there's nothing written to refute or confirm the outcome of Adam and Eve's relationship.

Here's what can be confirmed, however. Adam and Eve's relationship is the perfect example of the real reason for relationships:

1. To create chaos between the inner child of each person in the relationship

2. To help one uncover solutions to said chaos through compassion/un-compassion, love/un-love, understanding/misunderstanding and so forth.

3. To provide a mirror into one’s own psyche and wounds needing healing

4. To bring moments of orgasmic pleasure, whether of the physical, mental, emotional or spiritual kind.

Adam and Eve represent the man-woman relationship; however, all relationships that last for a minute or more have the above elements, whether familial, work or casual. Even school and neighbor-based relationships have healing and learning as core elements.

Looking at every relationship in a new light can help one become not only a better friend and lover but also help one see into one's inner being where useless patterns and possibly unloving and useless judgmental thoughts exist—all blocks to joy, peace and happiness. Do the work, see the results.
