Racism? Really? (Originally Published (7/7/2020)

    

I continue to be amazed at the collective’s disguise of racism in dealing with the shadow side of the human condition.

 

The recent Seattle site of the latest hostile takeover under the guise of the Black Lives Matter movement caused me to pause and take a deeper look into our country’s antics post the civil war era.  I viewed several documentaries on the subject and what I viewed was sickening:  it was a full blown expression of evil, hatred, selfishness, fear, condescension, greed

--- I could go on and on. The negative human condition just happened to be aimed at the poor African-Americans, ill equipped in many ways to handle the new found freedom the edict of the civil war provided them.

 

The actions of the collective Seattle Black Lives Matter movement is no better than mortgage companies who found ways to separate blacks from the number one American dream of home ownership by not issuing mortgages or the justice/prison system selling cheap inmate labor to fortune 500 companies.  The prison system became another form of slavery where prison wardens and company owners benefitted from jailed inmates who were poor and uneducated and “stuck” in the system.

    

It’s time we all, blacks, whites, yellow and brown people come to realize it’s the shadow side of the human condition that needs to change.  No republican or democratic President or congressman can ever legislate against greed, self-interest, bias, prejudice, hatred, fear, stupidity, ignorance, anger.  Each and every person must bring their A game to the table and seek to transform themselves from shadow activity to light filled activities.
