Weaponization Woes
Weaponization: meaning to take a thing and make a weapon out of it. The most popular and modernized use of this word has been applied in regard to using the court system to go after someone you don’t like – an enemy. This “warfare” tactic is an in-your-face, visible method of creating chaos. What about other weaponizations that run deep…unconscious weaponization?
Many weaponization ideologies come to mind; however, there is one weaponization tool that has been used for millennia that creates global weaponization unbeknown to most…skin color. The weaponization of skin color is historical and deeply rooted in minds all over the world. The human being uses this form of weaponization to either make themselves superior or someone else inferior, with very little in between. Chew on this thought for a while, and you may just be able to de-weaponize your subconscious mind.
After all, skin color is a function of melanin. DNA dictates melanin, a complex polymer that comes from an amino acid. Seriously? The destruction of one’s mind and heart towards judgment – even fear – is the result of an amino acid?
Could it really be that simple? The weaponization of skin color is not a twentieth- or twenty-first-century human flaw. Kings and serfs alike have been subconsciously weaponizing skin color since the beginning of time. What a horrible waste of energy.
Science would tell us that there is a direct link between one’s geographic history and skin color based on ultraviolet radiation (sun exposure). In God’s most amazing way, those born in high, sunlit places require darker skin to cope, just as light-skinned ancestry comes from more northern areas on the globe, areas farther from the equator or at higher altitudes.
God certainly didn’t create different skin colors to be weaponized in the human mind and heart…so why do we?
Just sayin’.
