Nature Provides Messaging... Are You Listening? (Originally Published 3/9/2021)

I had diligently prepared for five months for a seminar I was producing and speaking about converting your IRA into self-directed real estate investments.

The big day had finally arrived, and I went home to change my clothes and pick up my husband who had agreed to attend. When I pulled in the driveway, I was upset to see my husband cutting the grass on his lawn tractor. Clearly, he was not ready to go. When I confronted him, he informed me he wasn't coming. I was shocked, hurt, and naturally upset. I knew to have a successful seminar I needed to be calm, but I wasn't sure if I could recover in time to be completely focused on my talk.

I went into the house and looked out the front window. A full-grown doe had swum across the river and landed in our yard.  I had lived in the house for fifteen years and had never seen a deer in our yard.

After consulting my animal message research books, I learned that the deer message was to "adapt" to my circumstances as deer have an uncanny ability to adapt to whatever habitat they are faced with. They bring us the opportunity to express a gentle love which in my case was the move to immediately forgive my husband for abandoning me as I felt I needed his presence for the success of my seminar.  I needed to adapt.

The deer's presence, or should I say the details of the doe appearing in perfect timing was a reminder to me to adapt to what I could not change. That God detail kept me on track through the entire event. It was a huge success.

Affirmation:  "I am able to adapt to things I cannot change."
