Greed (Originally Published 7/17/2020)

Greed and selflessness alike have Karmic reverberations.  Are you prepared?

The dichotomy of greed vs selflessness has been extremely prevalent during the Corona Virus.  Many Americans received a lot more on unemployment than when they were working.  Employers across the country reported that many of their employees refused to come back to work because they were making more money NOT working.  Loopholes such as – if you are afraid you will get Corona you don’t have to report back to work or if you just think you will get exposed getting to work (bus, subway, etc.) you can stay home tempted many not – normally – greedy folks to go down a rabbit hole that will have Karmic consequences.

One of my favorite laws of the universe is that whatever you take that doesn’t belong to you will result in your losing the value of what you took tenfold.  Oh, your bank account won’t decrease $6,000.00 for every $600.00 check you received after you could have or should have gone back to work but, $6,000.00 of opportunity (a pay raise, investment return, investment opportunity, etc.) will never find its way to you.  Remember not to complain when in ten years from now your life is not as you wanted it financially.  $6,000.00 times all those weeks of unemployment checks can really add up.

Conversely, let’s examine the Karmic return for the doctors, nurses, ambulance drivers, food workers, and first responders etc. who unselfishly put their life at risk – without the extra $600.00 a week.  I would say their Karmic return will be amazing.  Their lives will be filled with not only rich abundance financially, but also filled with wonderful changes and opportunities for emotional, familial and physical life advancements.

Either way is good.  Just don’t be disappointed with your outcomes.  Choices Right?

Affirm: I choose selflessness over greed.
