Color, Politics, and the Aquarian Age (Originally Published 1/21/2022)


The color purple is created when red and blue, both primary colors, are mixed together. The Visible Light Spectrum, a small part of the electromagnetic spectrum that contains the full spectrum of Earth’s wavelength (vibration) measure so far discovered on Earth tells us that the color purple vibrates at the highest frequency of any other colors on the color spectrum.

           

Purple was used by royalty and popes throughout time to signify their attainment of a “higher order” -- the spiritual mastery of things. Purple’s elite status historically stemmed from the rarity and cost of the dye originally used the produce purple. Queen Elizabeth I who ruled England from 1558 – 1603 actually forbade anyone from wearing purple other than herself. Talk about restrictive government!

           

In my latest book Color Speak - the Language of Color, (out June, 2022) I take the reader on a simple study of the nature of color and how color is an intangible messaging system the brain and mind-bodies absorb that drives and affects every part of a being’s existence. I would also suggest that color sends messages to the collective as well. The collective I’m referring to here would be that of the good ole USA. The red versus blue energy that has been strongly plaguing our country for the last twenty plus years.

           

In Color Speak I explain how each and every color carries with it certain archetypes – personalities if you will that powers up the human body, creates emotional reactions, provides foundations for how the mind thinks and fuels one’s connection to a higher source – universal energy.

           

It’s no accident that our country is at such political odds, red versus blue/blue versus red. Our planet, the world, our country and even one’s personal relationships are all on the crest of revolution as the planet is cusping into the Age of Aquarius from the Age of Pisces. Every “age” lasts approximately two thousand years and can be explained astronomically by the movement of our planet in and out of certain constellations – each a 2000-year event. Jesus in fact ushered in the Age of Pisces two thousand years ago.

           

Pisces is represented symbolically as two fish going in opposite directions. Jesus’ symbol came to be known as the fish. I would suggest the mission of the prophet Jesus (look up the word prophet before you become offended) was to stop the confusion and chaos created by two fish heading in opposite directions; a balance if you will to the many vibrational pulls of the Piscean Age. Actually, Jesus in his many parables offered human solutions to every issue a human being could face: how to live life in a “purple” path of forgiveness, love, kindness and truth.

           

Like any planetary shift, “waxing” into a new age takes anywhere from 100 to 200 years. I would suggest that the “new age” shift began in the 1950’s with the women’s right’s and civil rights movements.  The Age of Aquarius will be known as the age of women and enhanced development and usage of the internet.  I believe the initial spark of the Age of Aquarius was more fully reinforced by 9/11, the destruction of the World Trade Center. It is through the efforts of Martin Luther King, Jr., Mahatma Ghandi, John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan (himself an aquarian and peacemaker by nature) and many more like them that the mindset of the world has slowly been migrating towards a new consciousness that includes humanitarianism, new technology (we are seeing this in every area of life thanks to Covid) and a new global mindset of a collective, brotherly connections, to name a few.

           

I am convinced that the red and blue battles going on everywhere on our planet will ultimately lead to a unity of red and blue – purple. The Age of Aquarius is said to bring about many changes – no…revolutions to the way things are planetarily done. It’s all good if one can get on board with it.

           

Purple is the color of spiritual alignment. In the spirit of planetary and country unity.  May we all focus on healing the political rift by practicing open-mindedness, truth, forgiveness and peace. Change doesn’t have to be bloody but it can be if enough like-minded people don’t join together in spirit of “collective” well-being though prayer and actions. The ball is in everyone’s court!
