Aging With Grace Into New Age (Originally Published 11/8/2022)


Lately, visions of old boyfriends, experiences and challenges dancing in my head have brought to mind the concept of forgiveness. I find myself mentally visiting past associates, college friends, and even elementary and high school teachers, all of whom impact who we became and pondering my feelings and thoughts about them in an effort to become aware of any lingering feelings I may have that need “cleaning out”.

 

The past has a way of catching up to us, and I'm not talking about karma. Something recently urged me to listen to The Beatles’ Abbey Road (1969) album. Instantly, memories from my teenage years (I’m 71! Save the energy for the math calculations you’re trying to make for something more worthy than my age) presented themselves.

 

The first song on the Abbey Road album is Come Together Over Me! Every age group should internalize the message of that song. The Beatles, one of the many channels for the new Age of Aquarius that began its transition in the 1960s, wrote many songs that ushered in a new counterculture. Come Together Over Me is about God asking for his people to come together under Him. At least, that's what I thought until I did some research.

 

It seems John Lennon, the lyrical author of Come Together, was admittedly a sex addict who took pleasure in writing lyrics with double meanings. Euuuuuu.

 

Not one to let an opportunity for a blog to pass by, I believe the real message, some fifty-four years later, is for everyone to come together under God's Will. The 1960s is said to have began the cusping process into the new, 2000-year Age of Aquarius which is transitioning from the 2000-year Age of Pisces.

 

The Age of Pisces encompassed many noteworthy events besides the birth of Jesus. The Middle Ages were born (in 500 AD). Rome fell, and along with it, a change of global power took place, formulating Earth's very small move towards globalization.

 

The Age of Pisces (1 A.D. to 2050 A.D. dates approximate) incited the human quest in the area of religious definition. The birth of Christianity and Islam (started by two brothers in the bible who went their separate ways) defined a time when humans began the hunt for a deeper meaning to life – a religious quest for spiritual understanding. Both Jesus (Christianity) and Muhammad (Islam) brought messages of love and forgiveness. The Piscean symbol is the two fishes going in the opposite direction. Jesus is symbolized by a fish. Islam's symbol is the crescent and star, symbolizing progress in the light of knowledge. Both religions introduced the belief towards one Creator Source, including the search for a connection to something greater than one’s self.

 

The release of one’s ego is a key element in understanding what the transitioning into Age of Aquarius offers.

 

The energy of the Age of Pisces, like any astrological sign, also carried shadow energies that included drug abuse, alcoholism, and sex addictions – basic issues of self-destruction. Guilt and suffering, self- induced emotions, became synonyms for spirituality.

 

Here we are, 2000 years later. Earth is slowly moving through the steps to reside in the constellation of Aquarius for the next 2000 years where all energies focus on "coming together under Him." Here's what sages say about the New Age (not the new world order) of Aquarius.


We are already experiencing some of these "shifts":

1.   A challenge to the moral order

2.   Freedom, equality and brotherhood in relationships

3.   An end to all war

4.   Kindness, honesty and peace will prevail

5.   Sudden and abrupt changes will reveal themselves in governments, medicine and education

6.   Scientific and technological solutions will be favored over emotional, political and illegal solutions.

 

Maybe there's a secret code somewhere in John Lennon's Come Together lyrics of those ju-ju eyeballs or a walrus gumboot, but this I know for sure. The Aquarian Age, this new and difficult time zone we have all been born into has included ALL of us in this huge time of transition. I find it exciting and feel blessed to be a source of information to enlighten the masses.

 

I'm urging you when trying to decide between hate or brotherhood, division or unity, destroyers or creators, that you take the high road in every decision. Follow Soul guidance, not the guidance of those who are fighting the beautiful changes this new age offers. The Beatles were a huge factor in the shift from the Piscean to the Aquarian Ages. Their message was one of forgiveness and love. 

 

Let’s all come together under Him!
