Treating for Color

The influence of color really gelled for me when I received a massage on a cruise ship.  The masseuse and I began to talk when I asked her if she enjoyed her job.  She started with how at the beginning (3 years earlier) she was “exceptionally passionate about giving massages.”  “Now,” she continued, “it seems like I am taking on all of the energy of everyone, and there are a lot of people whose energy I don’t want to absorb.”  She admitted that lately, she was “doing it for the money more than anything.”  It felt to me that she was “selling her soul.”  She indicated that she wanted to make more money so she could open up her own business back in her homeland where her passion lied.

She continued to reiterate about the beautiful working conditions she had, a large window overlooking the blue ocean and the beautiful blue sky.  It finally hit me!  She was “over-blued.”  That is, she was being “treated” with blue all day long, seven days a week.  The constant blue injections, plus the “taking” consciousness (not doing what she loved but doing something to receive back; taking, rendered her a human beacon for “taking on” her massage clients’ energies.  Too much of any color without the relief of balance that comes with a color’s polar or complementary energy can be antagonistic to one’s energy flow no matter how beautiful.  She mentioned that she found herself attracted to orange all of a sudden (no wonder).  My recommendation was to get an orange stone (carnelian, orange jasper) and keep it close by in her massage room and get a green agate (tree agate, moss agate) for grounding, that is to help move her energy downward, from blue through the chakras a little, at least to Chakra 2, which is the survival chakra.

If our bodies are hosting too much of one or more colors, the innate or subtle body will want to avoid that color(s).  If one is “stuck” in a chakra, again that might cause the innate to want to avoid the color.  Or, if one is not ready to face the energy/lessons or future of what a new color might bring on an intuitive level, your bodies will avoid that color.  Whatever the reason, determining one’s color deficiency or abundance can be one step further into balancing one’s bodily electromagnetic field.

Also, color resonance is generational.  You will find different generational (separated by about 25 years) beliefs, values, and politics differ from generation to generation.  This is reflected in each generation moving into a different zone on the color wheel.  Marketing companies from products that sell by color:  cars, clothing, paint, etc., have an intuitive sense of this, which is why new colors of products are introduced all the time.

Understanding the influence color has as it relates to the flow or restriction of electromagnetic current and the “frequency effect” of color is huge, even if you don’t believe in crystals as beacons or movers of energy.  There is usually an abundance of one color in everyone’s life that is either over abundant or under abundant.

Have some fun.  Start paying attention to the colors you see on others, on store shelves, on cars, etc.  You will begin to see the perfect order color provides in the big picture of life and crystal therapy.
