Spiritual Elements (Originally Published 9/30/2022)

No!  I’m not referring to elements such as calcium or magnesium.  I’m writing about elements of the spirit type.  You know, those “elements” that help one evolve, grow, and become stronger in the ways of the spirit.  Not medicine or machines but those elements instilled at birth to further not only the journey of the personal spirit but the collective human spirit as well.

Desire for living with a transformed human heart is every human spirit’s innate goal.  Some of us listen, some of us don’t.  Seeking to live in the highest ideal possible can start with an appreciation of everything in our lives, regardless of its appearance.  Appreciation of everything that crosses our path is a free, spiritual “element.”  The other day I viewed two foxes frolicking in my yard at dawn.  The miracle was visually amazing.  I have the most majestic great blue heron (one of my totems) that lives across the river who awakens me every morning with his pterodactyl-like squawks.  These sightings and hearings always spark my gratitude quotient for all of the amazing blessings I receive in my life.

In addition to gratitude, here is a list of other spiritual elements that the human being has access to.  For most of us, there is always one that is dominant and a couple that could use a little mental honing to ensure their magic works in our lives.

·         Faith

·         Order

·         Zeal

·         Strength

·         Love

·         Spoken Word

·            Imagination

·            Wisdom

·            Will

·            Release

·            Life Force

Take your own personal and truthful inventory.

Pick your strongest spiritual element.  Give thanks for that element being part of your spiritual DNA.  Pick your weakest element, perhaps your spoken words are backed by fear (faith’s opposite) and negativity or its always your will and not God’s Will that you live by.  Maybe your Love is filled with conditions OR you have the spiritual fortitude (Strength) of a gnat.  Select the “weakest link” to your spiritual elemental deficiency and create an intention to develop a new trait to enhance your life path.  It takes thirty days to fully create a new pathway for change from the brain to the heart (or vice versa).  An intention followed by an affirmation that one surrounds themself with for thirty days is guaranteed to create a conscious change (rewiring) foundation for that one new spirit element one is seeking to resonate and harmonize with.

For example.  I’ve always been in awe of Walt Disney, the man, and his early creations.  Just think a famous mouse started it all.  THAT takes imagination.  I believe the lack of the Imagination element was my weakest trait.  My intention to change that started with an intention to “look at everything I see and imagine an even greater potential for it.” Affirmation to match intention: I see everything in a different way through the power of Imagination.  An intention is a life-long stated desire for conscious change.  Affirmations are “mini” plans one makes along the path of life to obtain or secure the intention.  I began my Imagination improvement over three years ago and have added at least six different affirmations about imagination along the way.  The journey has been conscious, fun, and rewarding.

What else do I have to do that is so important?  I’m certainly not going to spend my imagination on THAT question.

AFFIRMATION: I am open to increase ________ (pick your most deficient spiritual element) in my life.
