Empowering Your Crystals

Crystals hold varying frequencies of influence as a result of their many unique characteristics (color, system, mineral, etc.). Some crystals such as pure quartz for example can hold massive amounts of electrical energy, whereas Jasper’s data storage capacity is much less. The secret to working with crystals is to match a crystal’s ingrained frequency to whatever one’s needs may be at the moment. Let’s say one’s feeling out of sorts; chaos is appearing in most every area of life. Usually chaos shows up to remind one that their thoughts and actions (governed by one’s mental and emotional mind-bodies) are in “material world” overload. That is, the pursuit of money, goals, relationships, etc., is not in balance with the spiritual aspects (patience, love generosity, peacefulness) of life. We live on a planet of polarity that is constantly seeking balance.

Peridot, a green, orthorhombic crystal that contains oxygen, magnesium, iron and silicone resonates frequencies that can help all of the four mind-bodies discover a spiritual awakening. Peridot, with intention, can help to bridge the gap between the physical and spiritual realms — offer balance to a chaotic mind set. The frequency influence of Peridot then, can help one connect to their Divine purpose in the material world (always muscle test to confirm a crystal’s energy is correct for you).   

A cleansed and well-intentioned crystal is able to upload a well-designed intention into coded information that is read by the chakras, disseminated through the body’s nervous system and then into the millions of cells the body is host to. The process of change and healing with the assistance of crystals can guide one to create new patterns, receive new ideas and overall direct one to new decisions that can excite a wanted change, sedate un-useful activities and/or balance the polarity currently at work in one’s life.

Crystals are fully empowered by the energetic intentions they receive. Many crystals carry the conscious and unconscious intentions of their previous owners or from the hands of people who have fondled them. To use a crystal for exciting, sedating, or balancing, any mind-body, the first step is to cleanse the crystal. 

There are various crystal cleaning methods. Be sure you take into consideration the Earth element archetype that is driving the crystal you wish to empower in the cleanse-reformat-intention process. For example if you are working with any Jaspers (most all possess Earth element), bury the Jasper crystal in the ground for three days. If you want to cleanse a crystal with a water element archetype such as Chinese Writing Stone, rinse the crystal with cool water for 7 – 10 minutes. Fire element crystals cleanse well in the Sun. Air crystals cleanse well in the path of burning sage or incense and metal element crystals lose old programming when exposed to the moon.

Some other crystal cleansing methods are:

·         Bury crystals in rice for 48 hours.

·         Bury crystals in a bowl of sea salt, covered for between 30 minutes and 24 hours. Trash the salt when done. 

·         Put crystal(s) in a glass container under a lightning storm and let the crystals absorb the lightening’s energy.

·         Set an intention using your imagination to see all negativity being released out of the crystal while holding the crystal in your left hand. 

·         Use sound vibrations from a singing bowl or a tuning fork (especially metal elemented crystals). Place the crystals on a clean black cloth larger than the singing bowl. If using a tuning fork, excite the fork and hold over the cloth for 7-10 minutes.
