Emotional Logic

An oxymoron, you say? Think again. Behind almost every emotion one has (hate/love, jealousy/accepting, greed/generosity, guilt/self-love, anger/peace – yes, emotions are spectral), there is a logical explanation that regularly cycles through the psyche, triggering emotions. Unbeknownst to most cases.

Throughout a year, some of the planets of our solar system conspire together, through their orbits, offering opportunities to trace possible logical reasons for those crazy, un-spirit-sourced, shadow feelings. Call it emotional processing if you will. An opportunity to possibly transform emotional triggers that no longer serve. You know? Someone is rude or makes spiteful remarks that trigger the need for revenge.

Be aware of those moments in time where you feel most emotionally vulnerable. You know, tear up at the minutest of emotional prodding. These events are perfect for asking, “What event in my past does this vulnerability remind me of? Do I really feel the way I’m feeling or would I rather feel ______________?

This exercise is nothing more than relaxing your own conscience logic behind the emotions you may be feeling. Try it.
