Crystals Then & Now

I recently showed The New Stone Age, Crystal Data for the 21st Century to a seventy-plus year old friend of my husbands. He wouldn’t even touch the book stating, “Just so you know, I don’t share your view of crystals.”

Seriously? What view is that? We’ve never even had a discussion about crystals. What does he even know about crystals? Clearly I was shocked at his limited thinking.

I didn’t invent crystals, God did. Is it so strange to believe that crystals could serve an amazing purpose on life considering each and every crystal contains its very own energetic frequency? Crystals which are little more than two or more elements of the Periodic Table that came together to form various energy patterns, have a very long history dating back to ancient times. Here’s a few of my favorites.

Stonehenge, the prehistoric, still unexplainable, and completely misunderstood structure built over 5,000 years ago contains many crystal “chips” known as Preseli Bluestone. Stonehenge was built using Preseli Bluestone, an igneous rock harder than granite. Preseli Bluestone also known as dolerite, comes from only one place – Pembrokeshire, England, two hundred miles away from where Stonehenge was constructed. In ancient times, Preseli Bluestone was considered to offer healing power. Many sick and infirmed people sojourned to Stonehenge from very long distances looking for healings. Preseli Bluestone hosts oxygen, calcium, aluminum, and silicon, and is said to be a stone of spiritual connection and grounding, embodying the deep mystical and magical earth energy.

The crystals, gold, and copper (yes, gold and copper are crystals) were found in ancient pyramids. Gold and copper conduct electricity when the copper anodes release electrons to the gold electrons. The Quartz in the Aswan granite slabs some of the pyramids are constructed with store DC energy. Some sources even claim that zincite, a diamagnetic crystal known to conduct electricity is said to open one to process a higher frequency, was found in the hallway walls of some pyramids.

Throughout history, as far back as the 11^th century crystals were useful in treating certain ailments along with herbal remedies. Ancient tribal cultures have worn turquoise and jasper crystals to give strength and healing help as well.

The ancient cultures of the Rome, Egypt, Greece, China and India, all considered crystals invaluable to protect, heal, balance body chemistry, sedate/excite/balance the chakra system and energize the mental and emotional aspects of the human spirit to mature levels of consciousness. Can’t really argue with history.

Don’t believe that crystal power and understanding is finally coming into its own? Just take any eight-year-old to a crystal apothecary shop. If I can’t convince you, maybe the intuitive and inciteful knowledge of crystals by the eight-year-old mind will.

The real message here however isn’t really about crystals now is it? The real message is no matter what your age, stay open-minded to the things and ideas the universe is putting in front of you. It’s never too late to learn and experience new things.

Unless of course, you’re ready for your mind, body, and spirit to become a block of decaying crystals.
