Crystals as an Evil Eye Protection

Recently, a great deal of buzz has occurred around certain bracelets, earrings and wall hangings carrying a symbol known as the “evil eye.’ Typically, the evil eye design is a series of circles with a black circle beginning in the center followed by a circle of light blue, then white, a circle of black and finally the outer circle of dark blue.

Although the trend is relatively new, the curse of the "evil eye" dates back to around 5,000 years ago. According to Wikipedia, in 6th Century Rome, the evil eye symbol appeared on drinking vessels.

The glare of someone’s “evil eye,” is thought to cause physical injury or financial misfortune. Protection from the evil glare of someone’s eye is said to be provided by the evil eye symbol described above and in today’s photo.

Although protection from the “evil eye” seems a bit superstitious or ominous at best, I think we can all agree that there are times in every one’s life where one felt vulnerable from the glare of someone else.  Protection from hurt and misfortune would be more than welcome.

Certain crystals, when infused with a well-meaning intention, can also provide protection from things like the negativity of a friend or family number, an invasion of someone else’s psyche or even protection against one’s own energy leaking or being sucked out by energy demons.

There are a variety of crystals that carry a protective “trait,” or archetype.  As always, before applying any crystal energy to one or more mind-bodies, create a written intention to program the crystal’s potential protective energy for your use. Keep the crystal you positively muscle tested for close to your body so the “Bluetooth” technology of the crystal can be read by the chakral column.

The following is a short list of “protection” crystals and the area of protection they offer. Always muscle test before applying the energy of any crystal to one or more mind-bodies to confirm the crystal you wish to apply to your electromagnetic field is well suited for your needs.

                        Crazy Lace Agate – negativity of others

                        Hematite – spirit protection

                        Jet – protection from evil

                        Kunzite – protection from the road rage of others AND your own road rage
