Copper

The human body requires a combination of 22 elements from the Periodic Table to ensure maximum health. The perfect "balance" of elements, however, looks different for everyone. In other words, there is no exact formula for the "perfect" ratio of one element to another that will work for every human being's body. DNA has everything to do with how the body uses and processes elements.
Copper (Cu) is the third most abundant trace element in the body, with 0001% body mass. Calcium is 1.5% and carbon 18% of body mass in comparison. Adults should take in 900 micrograms of copper per day. Copper can be found in avocados, blackberries, dates, guava, kiwi, lychee, mango, brazil nuts, basil, cashews, sunflower seeds, edamame, kale, lima beans, peas, parsnips, potatoes, pumpkin, beef, veal, duck, turkey, cheese, perch, salmon, sardines, and goat cheese. The high-protein foods listed here generally carry higher values of copper to the body.
Copper, a metal element, is useful in the body for the absorption, storage and metabolism of Iron (Fe). Like other metals, the body requires (calcium and magnesium, for example), copper's well-defined crystal structure (isometric/grounding) maintains good atomic activity in the body. Copper's one valence electron (copper has 29 electrons in each of its atoms) is always looking to help the dozens of enzymes the body uses for metabolic function by atomic bonding. Copper is a high conductor of electric and thermal energy and synergizes with iron (Fe), cobalt (Co), calcium (Ca), sodium (Na), and selenium (Se). Conversely, exposure to cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg) and lead (Pb), all heavy metals, will strongly inhibit copper's presence and, consequently, its power in the body.
Every element in moderation in the body is the rule of thumb for every element, and copper is no different. Copper's physical deficiency can show up as iron toxicity. Zinc is usually involved in this process. Hyperactivity, acts of violence, the baby blues and miscarriages can be a sign of copper excess in the body.
Overall, copper is useful in stimulating energy flow, grounding vibrational frequencies from the spirit mind-body into the chakra system, helping supply oxygen throughout the body and the formation of blood cells. Copper's crystal structure is isometric, meaning copper can be very grounding for all mind-bodies, helping to stabilize one or more chakras.
Copper has an affinity with the planet Venus, a planet dealing with one's attitude and outlook on love and money.
Besides the crystals of raw copper, other crystals containing copper are malachite, turquoise, azurite, cuprite, atacamite, chrysocolla, chalcopyrite, cumangite, indicolite, green obsidian, petrified wood, peacock ore, tenorite, blue tourmaline. Using blue tooth technology, the body's electromagnetic system can receive copper's vibrational frequencies merely by having a crystal with copper within six inches of the body. Ancient Daoist's taught that carrying copper crystals could be worn to release energy blocks using a copper-carrying crystal whose color matches the color of the chakra that is blocked (i.e., malachite (green/chakra 4), turquoise (blue/chakras 5 & 6), cuprite (red/chakra 1), and so forth.
This writer always suggests that you muscle test, adding a new food to your diet or simply looking for the best crystal to use. Although the above foods are excellent sources of Cu, they also carry other elements that may alter the delicate balance of those 22 bodily elements.
Visit a crystal apothecary shop and take note of the crystals you are naturally attracted to. Check to see if the crystals are in the list above. Muscle test for crystal compatibility. A positive muscle test result may indicate the crystal's copper vibrational frequency will be helpful to your body's elemental health.
