Biological Solutions

I recently experienced the excruciating experience of a 5mm kidney stone.  Child delivery labor pain was a piece of cake compared to the pain of this kidney stone trying to escape to my bladder.  At my age (over 70, we will leave it at that), a first-time experience with a kidney stone caused my health antennal to surface.  No history of kidney issues? Hmmm! What is going on.

Here’s what my hurt revealed.  I eat way too much animal protein.  I was a red meat vegetarian for 30 years when I was younger but now, I am extremely conscious to load up on protein (fish, beef, eggs, lamb) and avoid carbs.  To be clear however, excess salt, calcium, and sugar can also manufacture kidney stones.

Even more importantly, I want to know what vibrational message I am emotionally holding on to because I know 99.9% of most health issues have their foundation in the mental and/or emotional mind-bodies.  Come with me now.  The following information may be a blessing to your health.

To start, what do the kidneys do in the body? They cleanse all of the liquids that one takes in, converts them to urine, pushes the urine through tubes (1per kidney) called ureters to the bladder for disposal.  Chinese medicine will inform you that the kidneys are the energy (chi)centers of the body.  When faced with a kidney stone, technically the brain has executed a “biological” solution to a problem the human being is facing regarding some sort of “energetic flow”.

True confessions.  In my case, I’m in the midst of moving from a big time Real Estate Broker and Property Manager to Writer, Publisher, blah, blah.  In that process, everything I’ve known about my world has been shaken up financially.  In other words, the “flow” of my financial river has dammed up.  Have I prepared for these last thirty years?  You betcha.  However, the process of my change is difficult to wrap my arms around most of the time.  Are you still with me?

In my case, the best laid plans have not come to fruition as I planned… that’s right my will has not manifested?  I’m feeling like my retirement fund is quickly leaking and fear has settled in, taken root and… sprouted kidney stones.

Thoughts, fears, even decision making has not been spent in my spiritual path.  Instead, I’ve fallen to the material aspects of life.  That is, loss of faith in a power greater than myself (Soul) who provided the ideas on how to prepare for my human retirement many moons ago.  The result, my physiological body responded in kind and shut down my natural “flow” of liquids and created a crystal (most ironic since I wrote a series of books on crystals) that took me down.  I mean took me down.  Currently I’m a shut in.  But this too will pass (no pun intended) and because I finally “get it”, I’ll be better for it. (Dear God:  help me to be in your Will not mine).

Even better, I now can write this blog fully backed by real life experiences that everyone can relate to.  Sheesh!  I sure wish I could get the message without the ambulance ride, needle pricks and intense kidney stone pain.  What I don’t do for my followers.  LOL
