Loss Explained (Originally Published 7/8/2022)


I typically write my blogs and then form an affirmation to enhance the blog. Today’s blog however began with the affirmation: I am a distribution center for Light. After a trusted and loved employee was discovered stealing money and time from me, I turned inward to heal the message of the loss.


Loss is a part of life. Most of us resist loss by neglecting to grieve when loss occurs or denying that loss actually occurred. We lose car keys, hair, teeth, our virginity, friends, money, mobility, family – well, you get the picture.


The real measure of how well one copes with loss is the light that is distributed from you into the world when in the midst of loss. In the bigger picture, loss ALWAYS opens the door to new adventures and gains. Loss/gain is a spectral activity of Earth. So if loss is a precursor to gain, why is there so much pain and sadness over loss? Answer: the human condition. A bigger spectrum to consider is the human versus spirit orbit.


The concept of Divine Mind tells us that our mental attitude eventually determines the progress of our life; that is what we think about becomes our reality. Further, what we focus on is what “beacons out” of our electromagnetic field. Focus on sadness or anger and one’s center is unable to distribute light. Does this mean that one should never consider the effects of loss on an emotional or mental level? Not in the least. We are spirit beings living out the human condition the planet Earth is host to. Take some time to feel the loss and mentally calculate the cost of loss. Losing one’s virginity can produce a new being. Most of the time losing teeth is the natural way to make way for new teeth to grow in. Often losing a family member creates a void that allows new, familial-like relationships to occur. Loss and gain are natural Earth elements.


To maximize the benefits of loss the next time loss looms in your space, make a Divinely-Minded choice to be a distributor of light through the loss. Look for the blessing or transformation the loss brought. In fact, in a moment of quiet ask, “what is the blessing in this loss?” It took a little time when my three year old daughter passed from an auto accident to access the blessing but it was in the pain of Mary’s passing that I was unleashed into the world of spirit where I came to fully understand how perfectly designed Earth is in the realm of Soul. I feel like it was Mary’s job to come, take a place in my heart and then leave that I may seek and have my bring in higher consciousness – Divine Mind that I never knew existed – a gift from the dearly departed.


Assess any losses you may have recently incurred. Ask Divine Mind to show you the gain. Don’t feel guilty for wanting to understand the loss/gain cycle. It’s a natural event. Decide to be a light being to finish off the experience and become a distribution center for light.


The choice is always yours!
